Serie A Prospectus

We are 12 games into the season and in the midst of the international break. So no better time than to take a look at what has happened so far and provide a reference point for games going forward. I was watching a SPAL game and realized I knew ~nothing about Serie A, so decided to look into how they played. That led to a deeper dive into Atalanta after 3 of their players made my All-Passer Team.
Then I decided, might as well go all the way and make an entire Serie A Prospectus. Named that way of course after the legendary Baseball Prospectus's that filled hours of my time each March. This is a much smaller process, more of a quick overview of each team than a truly deep dive. For each team I'll post graphics showing where they pass and allow passes more and less in volume and efficiency and their most important passing combos. I will list their standout players in a variety of statistical categories: shooting, deep completions, ball progression, defensive activity, and ball-carrying (yards gained just moving the ball forward by running or walking, which occasionally happens in Serie A). There will be a quick summary of the team I write up as well alongside their Vital Signs: deep completion numbers, possession length, pass difficulty, passer rating, shot generation, good shot%, and a few more. Then we will get a quick player report or two on interesting players from each team.
So it's a reference basically, if you want to watch a game involving Serie A teams, check the prospectus out before the game and you should have a slightly better reference as to what is going on.
